How to Reset your Blackberry: Fix minor issues

Good day guys... just two days to xmas hope you all are having fun.

Phones tend to be all fun and smooth and fast when it is new and shiny but when time goes on it starts to age and lag which is so annoying... in the case of blackberry sometimes it just freeze and nothing works at all or it just gets too slow that you feel like hitting it on the wall, before you toss your phone read through these simple ways to fix some Blackberry issues with just a reset.

1. Perform a Hard Reset
This is so easy all you have to do is open the back cover of your blackberry and remove the battery wait for like 30 seconds and put the battery back and place back the back cover :)

• if you have a Blackberry Z10 just press and hold the power button on the top of the phone for about 10 seconds to perform a hard reset. 

2. Perform a Soft Reset
To perform a soft reset you should have a Blackberry phone with QWERTY keypad, all you need to do is press and hold the "Alt" key, press and hold the Right "Shift" key, press and hold the "Backspace/Delete" key all together then wait for the Blackberry to Reset, when the screen turns off you can release the keys you're holding and wait for sometime for it to boot.

3. Perform a Factory Reset
A factory reset or security wipe should only be the last resort if all else fails, this will erase all your phone data and personal information leaving the phone as it was when you bought it so be sure you want to do it before you proceed. Open the options on your home screen, select Security Settings and in the security settings menu select Security Wipe. Choose what you want to erase by checking the checkboxes or if you want to erase everything then check all the checkbox. Enter the code "blackberry" into the box and then select wipe. Wait for the phone to complete the wipe process, it might reset multiple times while on this just wait till its done and rebooted.

Update: Etisalat Bis is still working on Android, Iphone and pc

Good morning guys, most of us knew about the Etisalat Bis capped with 3gb and goes for just 1k that is working on non bb devices, many subscribers were unable to browse with their own and some believed that it has been blocked, some new subscribers say that it stops when they exhaust their bb10 15mb, I'm glad to tell you that there is a fix :) I too ran into the same issue when I exhausted my subscription and tried to subscribe again.

The Etisalat Bis is still working on non bb devices and very fast too so if yours has stopped or you want to subscribe this is how to go about it.

1. Get a blackberry phone
2. Insert the etisalat sim in it and you'll notice that you can't use bbm on it with the 3gb data you have
3. Dial 200 to call etisalat customer care, tell them that you subscribed for bb complete package that they should activate it for you
4. When its activated browse with it on that same blackberry and try to ping with bbm to make sure it worked
5. Subscribe for bb10 15mb with that blackberry and wait for a confirmation sms that the bb10 daily bis subscription is active
6. Remove the sim and put it in any device you wish then set your apn to blackberryx.net on that device and blaze on!

then follow the above fix to make it work, or rather use a bb device for the whole thing.

Windows 7 is not genuine: How to Fix this

Do you have this annoying message at the bottom right of your windows 7 computer screen "Windows 7 Build 7601 This copy of Windows is not genuine." or something similar about windows 7 not being genuine? I've been there :( had that message and its not cool. After much surfing and all I found a fix that works! :) it wont make your copy genuine or crack it, what it does is give you evaluation access for 30 days and you use windows 7 as though it is a genuine copy.

Wana try it? :D here's how...

1. Click start button and type "Command Prompt" without the quotes
2. Right click Command Prompt and click Run as administrator
3. In Command Prompt type "slmgr /rearm" and press Enter
4. You will get a success message
5. Restart your computer

That's it, when your computer boots the annoying message goes away and it stays like that for 30 days after that 30 days you can rearm again with the above method.

NOTE you can only rearm 3 times and then you will have to buy windows.

Our computer tend to slow down and sometimes even crawl, take ages to load a program and do all annoying slow stuffs after we use it a long time and download and install programs and even antivirus software from the internet.

In this case, components of the file are separated and rearranged to fill up other gaps caused by deleted files. The Disk Defragmenter will optimize your computer by rearranging fragmented data into places that will speed up Windows 7.

4. Don't run too many programs at once
Running too many programs and applications at once will slow down your computer, limit open programs by closing any program that you are not using.

5. Restart your computer once in a while
This process will help free up and clear memory by stopping programs that continue to run in your taskbar or unseen on your operating system.

Tecno Android Phones: What you should know

We all know about Tecno Android Phones and most of us already have one, I have one too and it has really served the purpose I bought it for. Tecno has indeed brought joy to smartphone lovers like myself by offering cool and well designed cheap android devices, with as low as 15k you can get a nice smartphone or even for less which was not even thinkable in the past.

The aim of this post is to rectify the misconceptions about Tecno Android, I have heard people say Tecno Android is different from android phoes, tecno android are no good, you cannot play games or use apps in tecno android, and lots of such stuff from ignorant people that probably haven't used an android phone at all.

App and Game compatibility comes in all kinds of android phone be it htc, samsung or sony, you dont expect to run an android ics app on ginger bread, the only different you spot on tecno android and other manufactures android is the hardware and updates, like the scratch resistant corning gorilla glass or water resistive features in some high end costly android phones like htc and sony.

I also hear people say that all Tecno BBM pin starts with 7, this is true... BBM pin in all Android and Iphone starts with 7 and we are not told why but I guess this goes for identification. so even if you buy HTC ONE or Samsung Galaxy S4 your BBM pin will also start with 7 :)

Software wise you can do basically all android-can-do stuff of your own version with your tecno android and you get so much more if you root your own device and this for cheap in place of spending a fortune on other android devices.

Most android users just browse the web, play games, chat, use social network, play media and run fun apps which a tecno android can handle quite well. You do run into some bugs and crashes sometimes which is also present in any kind of device in the world.
